I found such an unusual site today....I cannot believe that these wonderful sculptures are made of driftwood. It only goes to show that what one person's (or nature's) throwaway can be someone else's treasure.
The sculptures remind me of Thestrals, the skeletal creatures about the size of a horse, with a reptilian hide, white eyes, and leathery black wings from the Harry Potter movies.

The legs and hoofs look so real that I wondered if this was a hoax .... but it is not.

Of course, anyone can pick up a piece of driftwood, but it helps a lot to have talent too.
