We live in the “sticks” actually our area has very little decent TV reception….but we do have TV. Prior to moving here I was (and still am) a soap opera junkie. What!!! I can’t get The Young and the Reckless OR All My Children!! Well, I can, but even beautiful Erika comes through looking like a grainy old hag. But DirectV Satelite television to the rescue.
But, we now have the DirectV Premier Package (the Ultimate TV package) It is wonderful! Over 265+ channels including, ta da, all of the major sports events, great new and classic movies plus 12 FREE Pay Per View movies.
My very favorite feature is the DVR… I can record two shows at the same time (soap operas of course). It doesn’t use tape or CD’s and I can program it to record my shows if I’m not home. And, my husband can record one “wonderful” sports event” while watching another. The instructions say we can follow NFL action, keep tabs on players (Hello Fantasy Football!) and tune in to stats and scores.
